Summary

Scope Group is looking for an experienced Jira Administrator with background in software development and business analysis to help capture and digitalize business processes from different departments, as well as integrate them with different data sources and reporting tools. An outstanding communicator, diligent planner, determined and ambitious in solving business problems and delivering business services and support.

This role will shape and steer the function to deliver a world class Business Process Management with Jira, highly integrated with other systems, improving the BP efficiency, productivity, consistency and quality. The role requires a responsive, proactive and highly productive professional with excellent communication skills, who can work with numerous stakeholders to ensure continued success.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve existing Jira (Business, Software & Service Desk) projects, workflows, automations, permissions, notifications, dashboards, filters, reports, etc. as well as improve Jira security
  • Jira and Confluence application and system administration tasks, including backup & restore, cloning test systems, testing new software releases to assure application/plugin computability after upgrade, user management, etc.
  • Effectively manage and track project milestones, regularly communicating progress reports to stakeholders. Create comprehensive business analysis documents by gathering business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the successful migration of Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud, supporting planning, execution, and transition activities.
  • Work with subject-matter experts from different departments to understand their internal processes in order to translate them to Jira projects. Act as an interface between different divisions, groups, or departments, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Work with cross-functional IT professionals to integrate Jira projects with different data sources and reporting tools/mechanisms, using different technologies
  • Continuously research and make use of Jira applications (add-ins/plug-ins), as well as other industry standard methods and technologies
  • Work closely with technical and business colleagues, build trusting long-term partnerships, and ensure high-level of stakeholder satisfaction
  • Training and knowledge transfer to different business and technical stakeholders on different aspects of Jira projects and integrations.

Professional & personal qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science and equivalent professional experience
  • Industry certifications and memberships are a plus
  • Hands-on experience with creating and managing Jira projects
  • Linux System Administration or experience managing Atlassian tool
  • Minimum 3-year experience working as a Software Developer or equivalent coding skills
  • Practical experience with Agile development practices including Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with ScriptRunner and Groovy is mandatory
  • Experience with Relation Databases and SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power Apps is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to work with all levels of employees in an organization and understand the needs of stakeholders in various business units
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • Ability to meet deadlines, motivate others to do the same and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Fluent in German language is a plus

The compensation range disclosed may encompass multiple title levels (Scope internal levels of seniority). Your actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your individual experience, education, and seniority, and the final salary will be determined during the interview and evaluation process.

Pay Band:  Senior Specialist - Software Engineering
Minimum:  68,400.00 EUR
Maximum:  84,000.00 EUR

Bonus: Discretionary
