External Relations Manager

Summary

Scope is searching for a motivated External Relations Manager who supports our mission of establishing the European Rating Agency. You are responsible for the international network of Scope Group, especially the contacts of board members to all relevant stakeholders. You monitor all relevant political and regulatory issues and address relevant concerns towards stakeholders in politics and business. You support all departments of Scope Group with contacts to members of the Scope network and act as custodian of a consistent and strong appearance of all Scope Group companies.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Maintenance & expansion of Scopeʼs international network
  • Administration of Scope Ambassadors and Scope Foundation
  • Continuous information and activation of Scopeʼs network
  • Organisation of one-on-one-meetings for Scopeʼs Board members with stakeholders
  • Supporting Business Development through Scopeʼs network, overview and tracking of all leads originated from External & Board Relations
  • Conception and organisation of high-level events
  • Representation of Scope at external events and organisation of the active participation of Scope representatives
  • Supervision of current political and regulatory issues, addressing relevant concerns, gathering early information on regula-tory or legal initiatives
  • Organisation of meetings of board members with stakeholders (Governments, Parliaments, EC, EP, ECB etc.) and representa-tion of Scope in dialogue with relevant stakeholders

Professional & personal qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Master´s degree in business administration, international management, communication or another related field
  • Proven experience in relationship management or lobbying
  • Proven experience in communicating with c-level and political leaders
  • Good understanding of the functions of financial markets
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude to work in a fast-paced and international environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional organisational skills, a structured and thorough way of working with great attention to detail
  • Confident, open-minded and professional appearance and high social and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English and German, French is an advantage

The compensation range disclosed may encompass multiple title levels (Scope internal levels of seniority). Your actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your individual experience, education, and seniority, and the final salary will be determined during the interview and evaluation process.

Pay Band:  Senior Specialist – External Relations
Minimum:  71,400.00 EUR
Maximum:  96,600.00 EUR

Bonus: Discretionary
