Graduate Trainee - Fund Analysis

Summary

Graduate Programme

The programme is designed for university graduates with an interest in investment analysis, data management, automation and artificial intelligence. During this structured 12‑month programme, you will work at the intersection of fund analysis, data management and AI-driven automation. You will gain exposure to real-world business processes and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the next generation of analytical products.

Duties & responsibilities

Data & AI Use Cases

  • Support the identification and assessment of data and AI use cases
  • Contribute to pilot projects aimed at automating analytical processes in line with the existing AI Policy
  • Test AI-powered applications for quality, transparency and user experience
  • Support KPI tracking and performance measurement of AI initiatives
  • Document outcomes, insights and best practices

Data Management & Transformation

  • Carry out data quality reviews and validation checks
  • Contribute to data models, metadata frameworks and business definitions
  • Support the development of data products and semantic data structures
  • Analyse and document data flows and process steps
  • Assist with ETL and automation projects

Business & Fund Analysis

  • Collaborate with fund analysts and product specialists
  • Analyse market, fund and portfolio data
  • Support research and product development initiatives
  • Contribute to digital client solutions and platform offerings

AI Literacy & Responsible AI

  • Apply modern AI tools in a regulated environment
  • Support the development of responsible AI practices
  • Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Participate in data and AI workshops

Professional & personal qualifications

  • A completed Master's degree in one of the following disciplines: Data Science, Business Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field
  • An interest in capital markets, asset management and data analytics
  • Initial experience in data analysis or programming
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • A proactive mindset and a strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent English and German (min. C1) language skills; additional European languages would be an advantage

Compensation: EUR 50,400
