Duties & responsibilities
Throughout the programme, you will:
- Join a dedicated analytical home team: Build your expertise within one of our Transactional Credit Ratings teams covering Structured Finance, Project Finance & Infrastructure, or Covered Bonds, developing a strong understanding of transaction analysis and rating methodologies.
- Contribute to rating and research projects: Work with experienced analysts on transaction assessments, surveillance activities, rating committee preparations and analytical projects across a variety of asset classes and financing structures.
- Develop analytical and communication skills: Strengthen your skills in financial modelling, data and scenario analysis and data-driven approaches used in transactional credit ratings.
- Gain exposure beyond your core team: Collaborate with colleagues across analytical and related functions, broadening your understanding of the rating process and adjacent areas of the business
- Participate in structured training and workshops: Develop expertise in rating methodologies, quantitative analysis, report writing, governance, regulation and other technical topics relevant to transactional ratings.
- AI adoption & technology shift: support AI adoption within the organisation and help implement the technology shift at the heart of the rating agency’s analytical process
Professional & personal qualifications
- Master's degree (completed or near completion) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or a related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Interest in structured finance, infrastructure finance and capital markets
- Experience with financial modelling, data analysis or programming is an advantage
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a stimulating, high-performance environment
- Excellent English skills (our working language); additional European languages are an advantage
- Prior internships in finance, banking, and transaction advisory or related fields are a plus
